With other audio equipment I had been able to hold off until the weekend to put the speakers in, but with this mammoth there was no waiting - just action and long evenings.I have it in the R/T ported enclosure that's here on Amazon. At first I misguidedly purchased the 2 ohm version of this subwoofer; I was thinking since I was going to be hooking it up in 2 ohms resistance to my MRP-500 that I should buy the 2 Ohm version; not so. To get a final 2 ohm load you have to wire the dual 4 ohm voice coils in parallel, thus halving the resistance. Live and learn, I had to pay thirty-two dollars for roundtrip shipping on the exchange; company had decent service on it (Hooked On Tronics) so that was all right.
