For being a 10 inch sub, this thing BUMPS. I have it hooked up to a crunch 1000 watt 30th anniversary ground pounder amp in a sealed box and no joke, this sub kicks some serious ass and the set up was extremely easy. I went into best buy to give it a listen though before i bought it on here (which i recommend) and i couldn't be happier. I mainly listen to a lot of double bass and it is perfect for that. Thank you Alpine!

I have one of these subs in a custom, 1.98 cu. ft. box in the back of my vehicle, powered by an Alpine MRP-M500. This subwoofer is crisp, clean and as loud as most folks will want. Equally good at delivering deep, punchy bass or that chest rumbling effect. The people who have heard my car (from the outside or the inside) have been amazed to find out that it was only one 10". I guess that size doesn't always matter...
I have no regrets with this sub, just make sure to follow the specs and make the right size box- it really is important.

i bought two of these subs and have them hooked up to a kenwood kac 8105d 1000 watt amplifier at 2 ohms so they get 500 watts rms and they are in an atrend custom downfire truck box and they are crazy loud when i crank the volume they rattle everything in my truck and sometimes pop out my back windows, and these things are rock solid and weigh about 15 pounds each, overall great sub forthe price
