I am the pickiest audiophile. My system is huge with Altec A-7 Vintage Voice of the Theatre Speakers (6). Three subwoofer systems and the JBL GT01514D outperforms them all. From playback of original recorded material in my studio to the final edit and screening of my films for clients, the warmth and solidity of performance of this speaker brings the whole system into perfect audio excellence and symmetry.

I bought this speaker from HookerOnTronics for a very reasonable price (included free shipping) for my JBL PSW-D115 350 watt RMS powered sub-woofer (I bought this powered sub-woofer about 15 years ago from best buy for about $500) for my home theater system powered by a pioneer 1019 receiver. Excellent speaker replacement since the built in digital amplifier inside the JBL sub-woofer is rated at 350 watts RMS and that is the exact rating on this JBL 15" speaker. Highly recommended speaker for your home theater system if you have the need for a 15" speaker.
