This sub hits hard, sounds great, works fine. Solid 20 pounds to. Very powerful for the price. Watch out for the box it comes in though, the cable jumper is taped to the bottom of the inside box, dont throw it away or else the sub will not work.

This is a fantastic sub, and it gives fantastic results. Im powering it with a crappy power acoustik amp at 1 ohm and its pretty loud! It's also pretty crisp as well, and it changes notes fairly quickly and easily, but sometimes when it switches notes in rapid succession it seems a little muddy. It could be because I have this sub in a ported box, or simply my amp that im using, either way, this sub still is amazing.
Note* Buy this sub if you plan on wiring your sub to 1 or 4 ohms. Buy the 1043d if you plan on wiring it at 2 or 8 ohms. cool

This fit perfectly in the custom enclosure by Audio Integrations for my 2009 Subaru WRX . It sounds big and powerful powered by an Alpine amp and Clarion CX610 deck. I wish I had bought a different amp now though for clarity from the other Alpine speakers in the car. The Alpine was cheap and does the job, but I have to set the deck treble down really low or the output from the main speakers sounds kinda tinny. Using the internal amp with the same speakers the sound was great. It could be an issue with the pre-amp outputs from the deck though. Hard to say. Either way the subwoofer is awesome and a terrific value.
