This review is from: Power Acoustik CPT1-4000D Mono Block 4000 Watt 1 Ohm Stable Class D with Dash Mount Remote Gain Control, Phase Switch and Selectable 45Hz Bass Boost (Electronics) I purchased this because i needed a 1 ohm stable amp. I heard that power acoustic doesnt go by the standard rating system for rms wattage so i bought bigger than i needed and it was the right choice. I was looking for 1800 watts rms @ 1ohm so i got this amp which supposedly gives 2200. I have the gain all the way up, the bass boost all the way up, the subwoofer level on my 4volt alpine deck all the way up and the remote bass boost that comes with the amp turned up to half way and i seem to get what I was looking for out of my 3 13"tw5's. The set screws are really cheap and strip very easily. Had for a couple months with no issues so far. Installed it on my ceiling rather than under my seat to help prevent overheating and so far so good. SO JUST TO LET EVERYONE KNOW I REALLY RECOMMEND ANY POWER ACOUSTIC AMP THAT MODEL ESPECIALLY FOR THE PRICE.
