Love it. The install was easy, and we were rollin in about 2 hours-power was the hardest part. I used the high level inputs, no remote power and just wired up power and ground to get it done. Turns on with signal on the speaker wires and that's all there is to it. I would say it hits hard, but I've def experienced a lot more bass. All things considered for 200 bucks you really can't beat this. After reading all the bad reviews of the BassLink, this was an easy choice. It's a little bigger than you might think based on the pictures, but not bad. Nice to have the remote to dial in just the right amount of bass for whatever you are listening to. Took a minute to figure out the best crossover freq, gain, etc...but it just takes a good ear and I stay on the low end for cleaner bass. I got my sub a couple days ago and hooked it up. Sounds ALOT louder than i would have expected, easily fills my scion tc i even have to keep the plc control down below 1/3 most of the time. Installation was a breeze. Keep in mind i have never owned or put in a car stereo in my life and i even figured it out. I had just bought a car a couple months ago and it was wired so i thought why not? This powered sub makes it easy and simple cause well, you dont need an amp. So for someone who has 0 experience with any of this and what i was doing i even figured it out. Sounds great. I copied the other guys and ran the control wire up and on the right side of my steering wheel, where i superglued it instead of screwing it in. Its all the same right? easier anyway.
